OUR TOURS
GARDA ISLAND
We leave from the castle port in Sirmione and drive slowly around the peninsula, where we discover the fabulous Villa Maria Callas, the Aquaria Thermal SPA and the Grottoes of Catullus, the remains of a 2000 years old sumptuous Roman villa. From here we steer towards Rocca di Manerba, a rocky promontory, behind which a breathtaking natural reserve is hidden. Just a short distance from here, we discover the little Rabbit Island (Isola deiConigli), once used as a hunting reserve. Soon we will reach the largest and most majestic island in our entire lake ... the Garda Island! The island hosts a villa in Venetian style of the 17th century surrounded by a delightful park. At this point we head back to Sirmione to discover the Boiola thermal spring, which gushes at a temperature of about 70 degrees at a depth of 20 meters. Then we end the tour by passing under the bridges of the Scaligero Castle, a defence fortess of the thirteenth century, surrounded by water!!
PUNTA SAN VIGILIO
We leave from the castle port in Sirmione and drive slowly around the peninsula, where we discover the fabulous Villa Maria Callas, the Aquaria Thermal SPA and the Grottoes of Catullus, the remains of a 2000 years old sumptuous Roman villa. We proceed the trip from south to north until we reach the Mermaid's bay (Baia delle Sirene), a wonderful beach. From here we continue slowly to Punta S. Vigilio, a spectacular village with a beautiful villa, a church and a romantic restaurant. We continue the tour until we arrive at the magnificent Villa Canossa, a villa near the lake with a wonderful park. At this point we head back to Sirmione to discover the Boiola thermal spring, which gushes at a temperature of about 70 degrees at a depth of 20 meters. Then we end the tour by passing under the bridges of the Scaligero Castle, a defence fortess of the thirteenth century, surrounded by water!
SUNSET TOUR
We start the tour at the castle port in Sirmione and slowly head towards Villa Maria Callas, which dominates the entire lake. Directly below the villa, there are the famous thermal baths of Aquaria, a SPA renowned throughout Italy for the healing properties of thermal water. We continue towards the Catullus Caves, a 2000 year old archaeological site. The villa is located at the extreme tip of Sirmione, where you have a perfect view over the entire lake. At this point we will stop and serve you a good glass of Prosecco and fresh fruit while you can admire the sunset! We continue towards the Boiola spring, which supplies the thermal centre with its salso-bromo-iodine water! We end the tour by passing under the drawbridges of the Scaligero Castle, a defence fortess of the thirteenth century, surrounded by water!
SIRMIONE TOUR
We start the tour at the castle port in Sirmione and slowly head towards Villa Maria Callas, which dominates the entire lake. FULL DAY
This tour includes the most beautiful areas of our lake. From Sirmione we drive to Rocca di Manerba, the Garda Island, Salò, Gardone, Gargnano with its magnificent Villa Feltrinelli, up to the famous town of Limone, known for its old lemon groves, which are arranged on terraces. At this point we cross the lake and reach the town of Malcesine, at the foot of Monte Baldo, from where we can admire the beautiful islands of Trimelone, Sogno and Olivo as well as the magnificent Scaligero castle. From here we drive south towards Torri del Benaco, San Vigilio and back to Sirmione.
SALò ISLAND Sirmione
Departure from Sirmione at 2:00 p.m. Departure from Desenzano at 2:30 p.m. We drive towards Rocca di Manerba and the Rabbit Island (Isola dei Conigli). While we swip a good wine and eat some snacks, we drive slowly towards the Garda Island. Behind the island, in the beautiful area Punta Corno, we stop for taking a refreshing dip in the lake. Once refreshed, we set off towards Salò, where we take a break for about an hour. We continue our trip along the coast admiring Gardone and Fasano. As we head back to Sirmione and Desenzano, we pass by the Grottoes of Catullus, the thermal spring and the Scaligero Castle.
